Providence/Boston Center for Aids Research (CFAR)


The Providence/Boston Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) assists applicants with developmental funding, international awards, migrogrants, and external funding opportunities.

The CFAR Research Development Fund provides support for three types of projects - Initial AIDS Research Projects, Pilot Projects and Collaborative Projects.
The CFAR International Developmental Research Program offers initial and pilot awards to investigators in Kenya, Philippines, South Africa, Ukraine, Russia, and Uganda.
The CFAR provides support to faculty aiming to strengthen resubmission applications.
There are additional NIH resources for funding including Administrative Supplements, Diversity Supplements, and other CFAR Co-Funding Institutes and Center Funding opportunities.
