Biography
Dr. Rudel is an Assistant Professor in the Section of Infectious Diseases at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and a registered dietitian with clinical expertise in food insecurity and malnutrition. She uses mixed methods and implementation science to improve quality of healthcare delivery and health outcomes. Currently, Dr. Rudel is co-investigator on multiple implementation science-focused studies that aim to bridge the divide between clinical care and community-based services. Methodologically, Dr. Rudel specializes in identification of theories, models, and frameworks; implementation mapping; mechanism mapping; and qualitative methods.
